Jemma Alumbaugh, MA
Masters Graduate in Counseling Psychology
Jemma Alumbaugh is a graduate from the prestigious Wheaton College Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's program. She creates a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and understood. Jemma utilizes a collaborative approach, tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and personal story.
Jemma is trained in child centered play therapy (CCPT) and has a visual arts minor, giving her a creative edge with her child and teen clients. she has experience working with concerns including anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, identity development, relational stress, and neurodivergence. Her approach is relational, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each client's individual needs and strengths.
Jemma is an affiliate of the Sexuality and Gender (SGI) institute at Wheaton College and conducts ongoing research in collaboration with SGI.
Jemma is conducting independent research about Autistic Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and Identity Development.
